The Alsace Ecomuseum - The largest authentic, open-air village museum in France.

Created in 1984, the Alsace Ecomuseum is composed of nearly 70 authentic peasant houses, dismantled piece by piece in their village of origin where they were doomed to disappear. Reliving old trades such as blacksmiths, clog makers, potters, barrel makers, coal merchants etc.

The “Cité de l’Automobile” is one of the largest automotive museums in the world, with 500 vehicles, including 464 cars of 98 brands. It traces the history of the European automobile from 1878 to the present day. The collection, housed in a 20,000 m2 former spinning mill.

The “Cité du train” in Mulhouse is the largest railway museum in Europe. The Museum contains the only and biggest global collection of the history of French railways.
