Terms and conditions

1. Payment is due at the time of booking (or at the latest, 8 days after receipt of the invoice). ELAN VTC will then email a written confirmation with all details of the booking. Payments will not be refunded unless ELAN VTC has to cancel the reservation or accept a cancellation, for reasons beyond its control.
2. The Customer agrees to accept the terms and conditions of ELAN VTC, also if the booking is made over the telephone.
3. If a person books for two or more persons, he/she is obligated on behalf of the other persons, and we therefore assume that all group members also accept the conditions of ELAN VTC.
4. If other transport companies carry out transfers on behalf of ELAN VTC, the terms and conditions of these companies apply. The responsibility of ELAN VTC is limited to the services actually provided by ELAN VTC.
5. On the confirmation, the addresses are those of your destination and the meeting place for the transfer. If you want to change this, this request must reach us by email no later than three days before any service is to be carried out. A surcharge of 10 € can be calculated for each change.
6. If a service has been booked and the aircraft is delayed, the driver will wait for up to 60 minutes, with no additional costs. For anything above this, a supplement of 40 € can be charged per started hour. For pick-up at a train station, the waiting time is fifteen minutes.
7. A reservation can be cancelled by email with a fixed fee of 10% of the sale price. The cancellation must be made no later than 8 days before the date of the transfer. In the event of a cancellation by the Customer, 8 days before, ELAN VTC will agree to a reimbursement of the transfer costs amounting to 90%, between 7 to 3 days before, 30%, and in the case of a shorter time period or a non-show at departure, 0%.
8. ELAN VTC reserves the right, as do its drivers, to deny access to any passenger who is visibly under the influence of alcohol and / or drugs and whose behavior may pose a risk to other passengers and the driver.
9. It is forbidden to smoke in the vehicles and/or to consume alcoholic beverages.
10. ELAN VTC will do whatever is possible to ensure that the vehicles arrive on time and bring their customers to their destination on time. ELAN VTC nevertheless waives all responsibility in the event of a delay caused by external occurrences, regardless of the intentions and impact brought about by them. We list some of them here:
    • Traffic accidents that delay or block traffic
    • Extreme weather conditions
    • Police checks
    • All events that can affect the safety of the passengers
11. If ELAN VTC is not able to deliver customers on time at the destination, and this is for internal reasons, ELAN VTC undertakes to organize another means of transport: bus, train, car, taxi, etc ... The reimbursement for the cost of this alternative mode of transport shall not exceed the cost of a taxi to the final destination.
12. The vehicles are fully insured for the transport of passengers and their luggage, according to French law.
13. Nothing can affect the legal rights of consumers.
14. These conditions are subject to French law.
